Instructions for Estimate the Number of Dots Part 2


In this part, you are again asked to look at patterns of dots and estimate the number of dots.

The smallest number of dots you will see is 100 and the largest number is 753. Scroll down again and look at the first 14 trials in the warm-up. These are put in order for you to see the range of dot patterns you will see.

Again, you will type numbers from 100 to 753, according to haw many dots there seem to be in each trial. You are not asked to count, but to estimate the number subjectively.
