Thank you for participating in the project to learn about how humans form judgments and make decisions. Psychologists study basic mathematical models of how people evaluate and combine information to form judgments and how they compare alternatives to reach decisions.

The data that you provided will be analyzed in order to test and compare different theories of how people make judgments and decisions.

The ultimate aim of this type of research is to understand how people make decisions in order to understand why people do what they do. Understanding how people make decisions helps inform us how to advise people to make better decisions.
